2013 in Review

An entire year has come and gone and with it many exciting things for our family.

James:

• Traveled to Thailand and Laos
• Served as Interim Student Pastor at RBC
• Led a Spring Break Mission Trip to Chicago
• Attended a Catalyst Conference in Dallas, TX
• Graduated from Missouri State
• Transitioned into Missions & Evangelism Pastor/Young Adults Pastor at RBC
• Ran the Twin Cities Marathon in Minneapolis
• Turned 32
• Traveled to Nicaragua
• Became an Uncle to Hope Margaret

Abi

• Turned 28
• Finished her 4th year of coaching at Central
• Wrote numerous articles for RBC and School to the Nations
• Helped begin a Special Needs ministry for children at RBC
• Began coaching the 6th Grade Missouri Valley Magic AAU Team and finished 4th in the Nation
• Went to Memphis on a Student Mission Trip
• Began her 4th pregnancy (Baby due May 22nd, 2014)
• Started Homeschooling
• Cheered on James as he trained for and ran the Twin Cities Marathon
• Became and Aunt to Hope Margaret

Anabelle

• Continued in Ballet
• Enjoyed Ridgekids Preschool
• Went to Seussical the Musical Jr. with Grammie
• Asked Jesus in her HEART!!!
• Spent lots of time at Grandmo and Papa’s House
• Enjoyed MANY play dates with friends
• Attended Grammie Camp
• Started Pre-K Homeschool and Classical Conversations
• Learned to Read
• Went to the Beach
• Attended the Nutcracker at Springfield Little Theater
• Turned 5 and had a Butterfly Birthday Party

Mya

• Learned about a million new words (thanks to a talkative big sister!)
• Learned to skip…kind of
• Enjoyed lots of time at Grandmo and Papa’s House
• Went to Seussical the Musical Jr. with Grammie
• Turned 3 and had a Duck Party
• Worked on her numbers and letters
• Found joy in just about EVERYTHING
• Attended the Nutcracker Ballet for the first time at Springfield Little Theater with Grammie
• Ate lots of Eggs and Mac & Cheese
• Prepared to be a big sister

As a Family: 

• Traveled to Virginia on a Basketball Vacation (AAU National Tournament)
• Went to the Lake with friends
• Spent a week at Windermere with the RBC Student at Camp
• James and Abi celebrated 6 years of marriage
• Spent a week in Florida on the beach
• Started sponsoring Diba from Bangladesh with Compassion International
• Went to Madison and Minneapolis for James’ marathon
• Spent lots of time with family!
