Well Saturday was the last “Brock” basketball game for the season as my older brother’s team (Columbia College) lost in the Quarterfinals of the NAIA National Championship Tournament in Kansas City. (Note: they ended with a 35-1 record which is incredible!) I love that my brother’s and I are so supportive of each other and enjoyed getting to watch both of them do what they love this season.
Because basketball truly never ends in our family I decided to take on a new coaching position with the Magic AAU girls basketball program and am coaching a 6th grade girls team and so far am enjoying it. It is fun to be back coaching in a program that meant so much to my career as a player and to making me into the person I am today. Thankful for the opportunity!
Also, MARCH MADNESS has begun! We love this time of year and am looking forward to exciting games, cinderella stories, and (hopefully) a great showing by the Jayhawks this year. GO KU!!
