We said goodbye to James for 16 days this morning. He and a group of nine other people with School to the Nations will be in Africa working with a people group in desperate need of Jesus. I realized after he left that the pictures from Christmas are on the computer he took with him, which means I cannot share the fun we had over the holiday…YET. Our goodbye was actually fairly easy. Mya just wanted to see airplane and Anabelle was too busy dancing around with Clara and her Nutcracker. (Although we had a minor breakdown in the car on the way to the airport) We will miss him dearly, but knowing that he is doing what he is passionate about makes it all worth while.
So if you think of it, will you pray for the team? To find out more about School to the Nations click here. If you want to receive daily updates email me: theabicopeland(at)gmail(dot)com.
The girls and I are planning on enjoying some of this very RARE warm weather today by playing outside! Who would have thought we’d be playing outside on New Years Eve?!?! Speaking of…I hope you all had an incredibly 2011 and that God blesses you even more in 2012. Don’t party too hard…and don’t worry about me, I’ll be in bed by 9:00pm!
(yes I am a boring person)
